The Practitioner’s Award will be awarded to practitioners for original and effective application of behavioural insights to selected policy challenges. Interested participants may answer one of the following problem statements listed below:

  2. Nudging over-leveraged borrowers to take action in order to prevent suspension

  3. Use of BI to prevent people from falling prey to internet love scams

What are the prizes?

One winning entry will be selected for each problem statement. Each winning entry will receive a complimentary ticket for BX2017, which is worth up to SGD $2,354. There will be an award presentation at the BX2017 conference. Interested agencies may also follow up with award winners to work on the proposed interventions.

What are the judging criteria?

Submissions will be judged based on four criteria:

  1. Contribution to behavioural science

  2. Contribution to public policy

  3. Potential impact of proposed intervention

  4. Cost-effectiveness of proposed intervention
